The first 12 Imperial Dwarfs were released as C06 Imperial Dwarfs in August 1986, and another 12 as D5 Imperial Dwarfs in October 1986. The Spring 1987 Journal shows 17, 9 from the October 1986 releases plus a further 8 new appearances.
The command groups were released in August 1987. The 1988 catalogue shows 37 Imperial Dwarfs, a further 4 joining the previous releases.
6 new Crossbow Dwarfs with plastic crossbows were released in February 1989, although 5 made it to the 1991 Catalogue which shows 87 Imperial Dwarfs!
